OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
August 13, 2022—an unexpected turning point that felt instantly, unmistakably right. From the moment we met, we recognized something divine in each other. We fell in love effortlessly: conversations that never ran out of breath, meals that lingered long after the plates were cleared, gatherings and trips that felt richer simply because we were together. There was a calm joy at the center of it all, a quiet certainty that God had guided our hearts to meet.
Fast forward to
A few months later, moving in together felt less like a decision and more like the natural continuation of a story already unfolding. We never doubted it, never second-guessed it. Life simply fit. Our home became a place without conflict, without hesitation—just a steady, growing love and the shared belief that we’re building a bright future hand in hand.
The proposal
It was in Tulum, at a table set into the rocks right by the ocean. The restaurant was named Mi Amor, as if the moment needed any more poetry. After dessert, we wandered onto the patio deck where the sea breathed against the stones. Rodrigo knelt. Hillary cried—happy, trembling tears—and said yes. The moon, and a kind stranger with perfect timing, witnessed the beginning of our very own happily ever after.
